Welcome to the African-American Insurance Professionals Association!

Founded in 1994, the African-American Insurance Professionals Association is based in Los Angeles, California. The AAIPA is dedicated to the development of African-American Professionals who are employed in or vend to the insurance industry.

Through our various educational, social and networking activities, the AAIPA strives to:

• Foster the advancement and promote the positive image of African-American professionals who are active in the California insurance industry,
• Mobilize resources among African-Americans in the insurance industry to improve employment and business opportunities for African-Americans,
• Disseminate information on the insurance industry to the African-American community, and
• Expand the resources available to African-Americans in the insurance industry and the African-American community.

Each year, we host a Scholarship Dinner and proudly reward several deserving high school students for their academic and social achievements. This is our way of “giving back” to our community while promoting a positive image of the insurance industry.
