Community
Emergency Preparedness Forum
The AAIPA will be
conducting its first annual Community Emergency Preparedness Forum on Saturday,
October 4, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Carson Community Center located at 801
Carson Street in Carson, CA 90745.
This forum is FREE TO
THE PUBLIC. As homeowners, renters and business owners , we need to maintain
an awareness of safe and efficient ways to help ourselves, our neighbors, and
our community in the event of an emergency. This event will also provide
networking opportunities for various professionals in the community. Advertising
and exhibitor booths are available*
The AAIPA historically
has been involved with projects that provide benefit to our communities. For
example, for the past 13 years, the AAIPA has provided scholarships to many
college-bound students and participated in or sponsored seminars for our
community, as well as other insurance professionals.
As insurance industry
professionals, we see an increase in the need for our community to be an
educated society of prepared citizens. As individuals and small business owners,
we need to know how to preserve our homes and businesses which we have worked so
hard to obtain.
Please complete a registration
form to assist you in registering for this event. There is a registration
deadline of September 19, 2008. Exhibitor booths are $250.00 and advertisements
(1/2 page) in our Resource Guide are $100.00. These 4" x 5"
advertisements should be submitted in .PDF or .TIFF format. Camera-ready artwork
should be submitted with the registration form. Payments along with registration
forms should be mailed to:
